A self-supported roof is a structural arch system formed from continuous, curved, cold-rolled Galvalume steel panels. The geometric corrugations of the profile provide both the load-bearing capacity to span between supporting beams and the weatherproof outer envelope, eliminating the requirement for conventional structural steel trusses, purlins, and internal columns.
Arch Compression Mechanics
